What are the main differences between the enhancement mosfet and depletion mosfet?

In Enhancement MOSFET, the channel does not exist and is induced during the development of the channel by applying a voltage greater than threshold voltage, at the gate terminals while in Depletion MOSFET, the channel is permanently fabricated at the time of construction of MOSFET itself.
