Bacteria have an important role in the ecosystem.

After production, consumption and excretion, the dead and decaying matter can cause many problems in the ecosystem. But they don't ,why?

This is due to our friend bacteria that break down the dead decaying matter into smaller particles. Those smaller particles are again absorbed by plants and thus the nutrient cycle goes on in the ecosystem.

If there would be no bacteria, then the nutrient cycle would not be completed and thus no nutrient will be replenished and everything in the ecosystem will come to cease.

Hope This Helps You!
