Features of Brahmaputra basin are the following: 

Left Tributaries: Dibang River, Lohit River, Dhansiri River, Kolong River Right Tributaries: Kameng River, Manas River, Raidak River, Jaldhaka River, Teesta River, Subansiri River. It rises in Tibet, east of Mansarovar lake. Most of its course lies outside India It enters India in Arunachal Pradesh and flows towards Assam. It forms the biggest river island in the world known as Majuli.
