These forest are dense and multilayered. We can find different species of flora and fauna in these forests. The rainfall in these regions is approximately 200 cms which mark its name and have high mositure content temperatures as they are located near the equator.The plants found in these regions are mostly tall and hardwood type with broad leaves for transpiration of excess water.
