What are the main function of brain and spinal cord?

Functions : 1] Acts as a centre of intelligence, memory, thinking and mental activities.

2] Brain processes all sensory information and generate it's response according to it.

Location : It has an extension from the base of the brain to the lower waist through the vertebral column along the back middle line.

Functions : 1] It recieves, processes and then send nerve impulses to various muscles and glands in an instant by reflex action.

2] Spinal cord connects brain to other parts of the body.

spinal cord transmit all that electrical signals or pulses through nerves

it gives us a posture and give our lungs and heart protection from backside . Actually the ribs of rib cage is attached to spinal cord
