1.Elections are held so common people can elect their representatives.
2.It guarantees civil liberties such that all Indians can lead their lives in peace and harmony as citizens of India.
3.Freedom to marry according yourself.
4.People have right to follow any religion.
5.Freedom to take knowledge.
