troposphere- lowest layer, more atmospheric disturbances,life supporting layer, clouds formation,temp decreases with height
stratosphere- ozone layer, aeroplanes fly , temp increases with height
ionosphere- radio waves reflect back from this, temp decreases with height
exosphere- topmost layer
