$\implies$There are disadvantages of globe as its not handy,we can not carry it all times,this had led maps to replace the globes. Also in the globe the exact representation of the points or the place is not possible!

With the increase in the size of the globe, it is quite difficult to carry it every place.

Atlas however, is enough easy to move from one place to another.

Moreover, globe does not show the single city rather it shows different continents, country, oceans and seas and is a bit expensive too.
