The challenges for India after independence were:
1) As a result of partition , more than a million of refugees had came into the country from what was now Pakistan. these people were to be found homes and jobs.
2) The maharajas and nawabs of the princely states were to be persuaded to join the new the new nation.
3) The political system had to be developed and the Hindu Majority should not dominate Muslim and other minority groups
4) Idea of constituting a new constitution
5) Other problems - Eradicating poverty, unemployment and many
:) Hope this Helps!!!
