2 Prayer (salat): Muslims should offer prayers to

Allah five times a day while facing in the direction of Mecca.

3.Alms (zakat): Muslims should give to the needy.

During their holy month of Ramadan

4.Fasting (sawm): Muslims should fast.

5.Pilgrimage (hajj): Muslims should journey to Mecca at least once in their lifetime. if they can afford it

These five pillars are each described in some part of the Qur’an and were already practiced during prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) lifetime.
