Actually basic difference between these programming languages is as C is older version of C++,and some modules,keywords,compiler,Interpreter and programming environment and also the programs which is created by C language has limited access to Operating Systems but due to improved version of C++,it has capability to run on more newer O.S.'s has got improved in C++ but due to use of both the languages as someone the has command over C doesn't prefer to use C++. And for that reason both languages are still in use till now.
And as i said Java is totally different programming language than C & C++ , application which is designed on Java are object oriented but ,as it makes it very complex and perplexing than C & C++. These are basically languages which convert machine level language to human level language,so anyone can access and talk with that easily.
