It is a challenge for India, like any other country, to nurture and polish its youth in order to make it a productive, effective and beneficial part of the country. But due to the rapid increase in the population of the country, it has rather become a severe problem for the country.
The population growth is the most major factor that India has to dealt with first. Because of this, the youth is facing unemployment, poverty, tough competition in exams such as medical, engineering, law etc. These have a negative impact on youth and they end up doing uncharacteristic things in order to meet one's need.
Another factor the youth faces is the unwanted stress that is imposed on them by the society. There are certain restrictions that they must have to follow in order to be in the society. For example, if you have different cultural beliefs and standards and you dress differently, people would give you looks. Another factor is the stress of studies. First of all, is some cases, you are forced to study a field that is out of interest and you then you are expected to be good at it. Such students then get stressed and this is the reason why they have suicide attempts.
These are some of factors of the Indian youth that have been highlighted so that they can be dealt with and eventually the youth could have a better place to live in.
