1.No clarity over where Hydrogen is placed. It had properties similar to Group 1 and 17.
2.Since it was based on atomic mass, position of isotopes was also a problem.
3.At some places, elements with higher atomic mass were placed before elements with lower atomic mass. Mendeleev could not reason it out
