the major features of the six major climates which are :-
> Polar.
Polar climate are very cold and also dry. every month in the polar climate has an average temperature which is less than 10° C. plant life is non-existent except for some algae, while the few animal species include polar bears, killer whales, seals and penguins. countries where are polar climate these are :- U.S, Canada, Greenland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, etc..
> Temperate
Temperate climate are cold winters and mild summers. it covers much of northern America Europe and also the northern parts of asia. Temperate forests are grow in soil fertilizer by leaf litter, producing a rich diversity of plants such as oak, maple, etc.. Temperate grassland are dominated by flowering grasses and they are famous for fauna as lions, wolves, etc..
> Arid.
arid zones/ climats are hot and dry all the years. they included the deserts of Northern Africa, asia, etc... the coarse soils contain little surface of the water, shrubs, and wooden trees. there are animals such as birds, small carnivores, etc.. beans, cucumbers, eggplants are some vegetables which grow in the arid climate.
> Tropical.
the Tropical region/climate is very hot and also wet. it is covering the jungles of Southern America and Africa. this area contain the greatest diversity of plants and also animals life. tropical forests are experience about 12 hours for daylight daily with only rainy and a dry season. its temperature is about 18° C.
> Tundra.
the Tundra is very cold and also covered with the tops of mountain. the word "tundra" is comes from the finnish word, and it means treeless plain. it is extremely low temperature, poor nutrients and short growing seasons also..
> Mediterranean.
the Mediterranean climate is dry summer and mild winters. it includes the land which surrounding the Mediterranean sea. plants are very shrubby typically and less than three feets talls. its winter temperature is about 30 to 65°. in the summer months it is above 50°.
