* less awareness among rural people

* corruption in terms of loan giving for skill development.

* not much scope in various which are hard to reach.

* belief of people on traditional activity for earning and survival.

* using of money of prosperous members of society at the name of poor.

The major reasons for the less effectiveness of poverty alleviation programmes are as follows;

(i) One of the significant causes for the limited effectiveness of such goals is because of the shortage of conventional implementation and appropriate targeting.

(ii) Besides, this another major role for the less effective is coincidental projects.

(iii) Despite the genuine aims of the government, the advantages of these projects do not reach the worthy poor effectively.

Therefore, the principal importance in modern years was laid on the proper monitoring of all the hunger alleviation agendas.
