What are the male and female gonads in humans beings mention their functions

Male gonad is TESTES.

Its function is the produce sperms and testosterone (hormone) .

Female gonad is OVARY.

Its function is to produce ovum (egg) and estrogen,progesterone (hormones).

(The hormones produces bring about changes in the appearance of individual at the time of puberty.)
