what are the measures of the angles of an isosceles triangle in which each of the base angles is :
1) double the vertical angle
2) thrice the vertical angle?

1)solution:
let the vertical angle be x....the the two base angles will be 2x....
then.
x+2x+2x=180
5x=180
x=36
Therefore...the angles are 36,72 and 72
2)solution:
let the vertical angle be x
same process....
7x=180
x=25.7
the angles are 25.7...77.1 and 77.1
