HYV(high yealding verities) they grow more in size but have less amout of vitamins and minerals.They have less taste when compared to original crops or fruits.
advantages:
the hyv crops are cultivated easily in less period of time.the crops would be big in size so it can be consumed by many people.
Disadvantages :
the hyv crops are cultivated with excess amount of chemicals, so can cause health diseases. the taste is not much perfect when compared to original
HYV means high yeilding variety seeds Merit : gives nice and good yeilding,these yeild in periodmof time De merit: these contains less no.. of vitamins and minerals when compared to others,
the merit is h y v crops is shorted So more able to with stand high winds and heavy rain .
demerits is of Hyv it require more reliable source of water
