Like Isaiah, Ezekiel's message was both warning and consoling. In ch.1-24 he warns about the imminent First Destruction, which happened in his own time, and then he prophesies better times in the distant future, when the Third Temple will be built (ch.36-48). In between (ch.25-35), he prophesies about Gentile nations.
