A party has to secure 6% votes in the lok sabha elections of four states and have to win atleast 4 seats so as to be recongised as national level party..national parties raise issues of national importance . example- BJP, Congress party..
A party has to secure 6 %votes in the legislative assembly of a state and has to win atleast 2 seats so as to be recongised as a state party . A state party raises issues of regional importance. Example - janata dal , samajwadi party..
