For the world to sustain future generations, the human community at large should embrace conservation of natural resources of both renewable and non renewable. There are number of reasons justifying the need of preservation of nature which are as follows :-
1. Wise use of resources :-
Recent studies have estimated that many of the natural resources utilized by people have decreased to less than 25% , particularly oil and coal. So in order to avoid future starvation deaths and conflicts over the scarce natural resources we need to wisely use the available resouces.

Elements like nitrous oxides, methane and carbon monoxide readily combine vapour in the atmosphere to form acidic rains. Acidic rains are responsible for destructing man mande structures, destroying plants and animals. So to maintain balanced environment condition there is a need fir preservation of environment.
3. To slow down global warming :-
Deforestation adds more carbon and carbon dioxide that capture and absorb heat, thus speeding up the process of global warming by making the earth hotter. So to slow down the global warming there's need for preservation of nature.
4. To promote economic stability :-
Many people are employed because the forest and millions of jobs would be lost without it. The forest simply provide energy and are a source of livelihood fir many. So there's a need fir preservation of nature
5. To allow survival on earth :-
