The Pulmonary Vein carries oxygenated blood.The Pulmonary Vein is an exception because veins normally carry deoxygenated blood from all parts of the body back to the heart.
The Pulmonary Artery carries deoxygenated blood. The Pulmonary Artery is an exception because normally arteries carry oxygenated blood from the heart to all parts of the body.
