ince all the intrinsic semiconductors are electrically neutral and doping atoms we are adding are also electrically neutral therefore resulting extrinsic semiconductor (either N or P type) must be neutral too.

In N type semiconductor, the addition of pentavalent atom (donor impurity) provides a free electron not a extra electron.

Some electrons are generated in conduction band due to electron-hole pair extraction which have their corresponding hole in the valence band.

Rest of the electrons are generated due to the donor impurity which have their corresponding positive charge. Therefore a N type or P type semiconductor is electrically neutral always.
