Objectives of Classification:
• The main objective of classification is to condense the large data to understand easily. It should be simple and brief.• Classification helps in comparison of data. Ungrouped data cannot be compared and it can be possible with classification. And hence classification facilitates comparison.• Classification provides basis for tabulation and it is not possible without classification.• In the statistical data, classification reveals clearly the points of similarities and dissimilarities.
