Here is your answer

Most of Brazil’s development was on the Atlantic Ocean seaside cities. When elected in 1956 Juscelino Kubitschek de Oliveira achieved what the country Constitution established: the construction of Brazil capital city in the hinterland which is sited mostly in the country Center-West.

Today Brazil is the largest producer of soya beans and one of the most successful suppliers of grain due to the “Go West” policy followed by his successors.
