Answer:the objectives of parallels and meridians is to locate any spot on the world like a graph. They also help in time management. The most important meridian of the system is Greenwich meridian also called prime meridian. The main latitude is equator. They are taken as 0°. There are 360 meridians and 180 latitudes.
