#️⃣1️⃣ CASE FIRST
⭕ When Ammonium Hydroxide is added to aqueous solution of Ferrous sulphate The following reaction takes place.
⭕ 2NH4OH + FeSO4 = (NH4)2SO4 + Fe(OH)2
#️⃣2️⃣ CASE SECOND
⭕ When Ammonium Hydroxide is added to the aqueous solution of Aluminum chloride The following reaction will take place.
⭕ 3 NH4OH + ALCL3 = 3 NH4CL + AL(OH)3
❇️ OBSERVATION ---
#️⃣1️⃣ In first case a pale green precipitate of
FE(OH)2 is formed.
#️⃣2️⃣ In second case a white precipitate of
AL(OH)3 is formed.
