Helen Keller felt that examinations were the chief
bugbears of her college life. Even though she excelled in them after making a
lot of efforts they came back again and again and challenged her courage.
In her opinion exam time was very dreadful. The days
prior to the exams were spent in cramming the information. At such times she wished that the books and science were buried in the depths of the sea. After
working hard and preparing for the exam a person is lucky if he can recollect
the information while writing the exam because most of the time a person tends
to forget what he has learned at the most crucial time.

According to her, examinations were extremely stressful as one had to fill his mind with lots of 'mystic theorem and indigestible dates'. She did not like examinations, as she reveals that during the exam times, the books should be buried deep in the sea. In her opinion, in the examination hall, her memory fades away. She said that experiences that she had stored with such great stress perpetually disappointed her at a pinch.
