The following organs present in the outer surface of annelids helps in locomotion of the animals from one place to another:
- Setae: It is a stiff bristles like structure which is involved in helping species such as earthworm to move.
- Parapodia: It is a paired, un-jointed outgrowth seen laterally in annelids.
- The third one helps in attachment of the organism with the surface.
