When ovum comes in fallopian tube released by either of ovary it wait for the sperm to get fertilised also the uterus wall become thick by blood capillaries so as to provide nutrition to the embryo. But if it doesn't get fertilised the uterus wall along with blood capillaries and egg get released from vagina. This causes bleeding in women called menstruation. This menstruation cycle is generally of 28 days.
