the treaty of varsellies was a peace treaty mafe following the events of the first world war. The treaty was made to determine qhat should become of germony after the war, as one of the condition of the treaty was that germony was to take full blame for causing the war, and all damage the done during it.

Germany was insulted. large number of new countries were formed like Austria, Hungary Yugoslavia, czechoslovalia,estonia, Latvia ,Finland,etc.
the Treaty imposed heavy penalty on Germany both in more monetary terms ...Germany had to pay War indemnity or compensation to the victorious allies... and territorial Terms... it lost a lot of its territories to France and other countries...

Britain and its 3 Allies imposed terms and conditions on the Treaty on the defeated powers. the austria-hungary and Ottoman Turkey Empires were dissolved and broken up into small nation-states. the German Empire 2 was broken up and placed by a democratic republic. the Ottoman Empire was replaced by the Republic of Turkey and its colonies in Africa were divided among the victorious powers....
