Answer:

Explanation:

PARTS OF THE EYE:

cornea: this is the protecting layer of our eyes it also helps in converging of light rays. It is extremely pain sensitive so if ant particle manages to touch you cornea it will be painful

Aqueous humor: it is after the cornea and is 97 percent water. It also helps in converging of light rays.

Pupil: this captures sunlight and converges the light rays to enter the lens of our eyes

Iris:this determines how much light enters the pupil by contracting and expanding the pupil. It also gives the eye colour. For example if anyone has brown eyes its because the iris is brown in colour.

Lens: These lens converge the light so that it hits the retina.

Cilliary muscles:These muscles help in contraction and expansion of the lens. This is needed for the lens to focus far and near objects.

Viterous humor:It also mainly consists of water.

Retina: It contains of rods and cones. RODS determine the intensity of light and it can only help us see gray . CONES determine the colour and without it you will see everything as shades of gray.

Optic nerve: Then the image is converted into electrical impulses and the optic nerve sends theses impulses to the brain.
