The Khyber Pass and the Bolan Pass are the two Passes which were used by foreigners to invade India.

The Khyber Pass is a mountain pass which connects Afghanistan and Pakistan. It was an important trade route between India and Central Asia. Darius I, Genghis Khan, Mahmud Ghaznavi, and Muhammad Ghori were some invaders who came through this Pass.

The Bolan Pass extends through the Toba Kakar Range in western Pakistan. It connects Quetta and Sibi. It is strategically located so it was used by invaders.

The Khyber Pass  is a mountain pass connecting Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Khyber Pass cuts through the north-eastern part of the Spin Ghar mountains.

It was through the Khyber pass
invaders have entered predominantly. Some invasions are by Genghis Khan, Darius I  and later Mongols such as Qutlugh Khwaja, Duwa and Kebek. Muslim invaders through the pass were  Mahmud Ghaznavi, and the Afghan Muhammad Ghori and the Turkic-Mongols.

Bolan Pass:

The Bolān Pass is a mountain pass through the Toba Kakar Range of Balochistan territory in western Pakistan, 120 kilometres from the Afghanistan border.

In 1837, Russian invaded  South Asia via the Khyber and Bolān Passes, a British representative was sent to Kabul to ask for support from EmirDost Mohammed.

The British Army under Sir John Keane, in February 1839,  took 12,000 men through the Bolān Pass and entered Kandahar, which the Afghan Princes had abandoned; from there they would go on to attack and overthrow Ghazni.
