2) Well defined excretory organs such as flame cells are present.

3) Outermost covering is epidermis which is often ciliated and covered by cuticle.

4) The body of platyhelminthes is dorsoventrally flattened.

5) The reproductive system is well developed. Mostly they are hermaphrodite.
