In 1905 British government reserve 2/3rd of forest of Bastar which is located at chhattisgarh and borders of orissa, maharashtra and Andhra pradesh.

They started collecting forest produce so people of buster worried because of their beliefs and customs which was attached with the forest.

Their belief is land is given by Earth to them and its their responsibility to take care of that.
