total molecular weight of the molecule is 18g
weight of hydrogen in the molecule is 2g
weight of oxygen in the molecule is 16g

per. comp. = (total weight of element / total molecular weight of molecule)*100

per. comp. of H= 11.11 percent
per. comp. of O= 88.88 percent
