Nursing have been quite popular since the advent of florence nightingale.
It was Florence who had started looking after the wounded soldiers during the Crimean War, she therefore came to be known as the "lady with the lamp".
Many years later, the nurses still uphold the legacy of florene nightingale and they still continue to look after the sick and the wounded.
They do not care about the religion, caste or creed, religious or social backgrounds.
They care after every sick people like they normally should.
