There are four phases to a project development cycle :

1) Initiation phase : In this phase, the objective/need of the project is identified, which is then documented accordingly with its corresponding possible solution.

2) Planning phase : In this phase, the solution is developed at a very deeper level along with planning the steps required to meet the project’s objective.

3) Implementation : In this phase, everything planned is put into action and the work is executed.

4) Closing phase : In this, the main focus is on releasing the final deliverables, handing over the documentations, etc.,
