Hey there!

Q) What are the physical properties of Acids?

A) Firstly, what are ACIDS?
=> Acids are the chemical compounds which liberate hydronium Ion in their aqueous solutions.
For example -: HCl, HBr, H2SO4 etc.

Physical Properties Of Acids -:

#1 Acids are sour in taste

#2 They release H+ ions in their aqueous solutions

#3 They change the colour of indicators
Such As,
Blue litmus into Red
Phenolphthalein remains Colourless
Methyl Orange into Pink

#4 All mineral acids except H2CO3 have corrosive affect on skin. Organic acids are not corrosive

#5 They are electrolytes, which means that they conduct electricity in aqueous state

#6 They maybe solids or liquids at room temperature
