Plantation means planting trees. Trees are very important to save nature from the black hands of pollution. There are plenty of plantation methods that are most beneficial for the environment.  The methods are:

  • Sowing methods  
  • Cropping systems

Mono-cropping or monoculture, Intercropping, and Crop Rotation

Explanation:

Trees like peepal and banyan are planted more as they have the most capacities of converting carbon dioxide into oxygen. The other trees like eucalyptus and deep-rooted trees like neem, etc are needed to prevent soil erosion.

Other trees like mango, etc are needed for food purposes. This planning should be made previously and balance should be maintained among all classes of a plantation.
