Answer:
POSSIBLE INTERACTIONS IN ENVIRONMENT:
Species interactions within ecological webs include four main types of two-way interactions: mutualism, commensalism, competition, and predation (which includes herbivory and parasitism). Because of the many linkages among species within a food web, changes to one species can have far-reaching effects.
Mutualism:
When two species benefit from each other, the symbiosis is called mutualism (or syntropy, or crossfeeding). For example, humans have a mutualistic relationship with the each other.
Competition:
Interspecific competition occurs when members of more than one species compete for the same resource. Woodpeckers and squirrels often compete for nesting rights in the same holes and spaces in trees
Commensalism:
Example of commensalism is one organism using another as a means of transportation. A lot of insects, fish, and other animals use each other in this way, but a good example is the remora. This is a type of fish that will attach itself to sharks and other big fish to catch an underwater ride.
Predation:
The best-known examples of predation involve carnivorous interactions, in which one animal consumes another. Think of wolves hunting moose, owls hunting mice, or shrews hunting worms and insects.
