●Postulate of Thomson's model are as follows
○His atomic model states that the postive charge is spread all over and electrons are embedded in to it.
●He campare his model like of water melon where red part is positive and seeds are like electrons.Many names given to his model like plum pudding model ,Christmas cake model etc
●The atom is electrically neutral.
Limitations of Thomasan atomic model are -
●It's atomic model not found helpful in any scientific work.
●Thomasan atomic model is based on experimentally not proven scientifically .
