the precautionary measures to be taken to save water are
1)close water taps after use
2)making of rainwater harvesting system
3)repairing of water pipes
4)using water coming out of our water purifiers for other house-hold purposes
5)making of underground tanks
6)educating the people about the wastage of water and it's proper use (as most of the illiterate people waste so much of water saying that we have much and blah blah)
7) creating water campaigns
ummm now i guess you can continue with some more tips that would give you marks and the tips we are never going to obey in our life!

- Turn off the tap while you are brushing your teeth,
- Stop using showers to take bath.
- Fix your leaks as soon as possible if you have any leaks.
- Check your toilet whether there is any leaks.
- Recycle water when you can like for example after you had a bath if you have some water left in the bucket you can use that water for washing the dishes.
- Do not use the hose while you are washing the car use a bucket and a mug instead to wash your car this saves water.
- Do rainwater harvesting this can save a lot of water and you can use this harvested water for future use.
