Zero FIR if filed if the incident place is different. Means it belongs to other police station. Later the investigation transferred to the belonged police station.

Suppose if someone poisoned while travelling and he got faint. After getting conscious back he found himself/herself to different police station area. So that person can lodge a complain/FIR over that police station. Latter it is transfered to the belongs police.
