the preventive measures have been taken by the government against disaster management are at relief centres or you can say red cross clinic setup all across the states of the disaster prone areas has to avoid any use losses of people that means a large number of deaths in a region that is affected by a flood firewall landslide whatever the government has undertaken many facilities at rescue team has been appointed in flood prone areas and

1.Government has been putting in place early warnings system, about the weather conditions that can help the locals as well as the state machinery to be prepared for the disaster like condition.

2.It has been preparing a contingency plans at the national level involving risk assessment, analysis etc.

3.It is also involved in forming disaster committee involving all stakeholders, that may plan for the contingency collect information about the geographic, climatic condition of the area, about the population, housing patterns, occupational pattern etc.

4.It has been involved in structural and non structural mitigation strategies.

5.Government has been holding mock drills and exercises in schools, villages etc.
