the soil loose necessary nutrients..
the soil is furthur not able to produce crops..
the cultivation depletes amount of forest area of an area
this produces just the basic amount to feed a family .. so no surplus.. for commercial use....

Jhum cultivation is the practice of cultivation in which a certain region or part of a forest is cut down and burnt . On this burnt region crops are grown .
This method of cultivation is not suitable or good for our environment . It causes air pollution . The cutting down of the forest belt cause a decrease in the forest region and results in deforestation .
