Some pf the disadvantage of big dams are:

1 Dams tend to be extremely expensive to build.

2. The rare flooding related to big dams this flooding of large areas of land means that the natural environment is destroyed.

3. Social problem , since for the construction of dams a large area will be cleared and that would defect the area of people living there.

4. clearing of forset will also distrub the ecological balance and it would lead to environmental imbalance.

5. people living in those area will be shifted and their economical problem will increase.
