what are the problems caused by non - biodegradable waste we generate???

1. Since the non-biodegradable wastes cannot be broken down by bacteria, they accumulate in the dumping areas.

2. If we try to burn these wastes to destroy them, they release harmful and poisonous gases.

3. If we try to bury these wastes in the ground then the organisms living there would not be able to live properly.

Therefore we should try not to generate non-biodegradable wastes.

Non biodegradable subtances are those which can not be decomposed by microrganisms.

For example :

Plastics , polytene bags .

Problems caused by Non - biodegradable subtances :

➡When the non biodegradble subtance goes into animal's stomach due to indigestion they died .

➡Sewage system blocked by these subtances .

➡When these subtances are thrown on earth it makes a layer on it amd resist the water to go inside the surface . So that water level in ground decreases.

➡Drinking water also polluted by these subtances .
