The Problems faced by the Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks of N.E India.
- In the North-East Region of India, Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh are located.
- In these total eight states or zones, animals like Gayal, Leopard, Panda, Monkey, and many species of birds are preserved.
- National Parks and Sanctuaries are situated in these states experiencing problems like poaching of animals, interference of human activities, inadequate supply of annual food, improper or no care from the Central Government in terms of funding or safety, destruction of land for urban development or transportation ways, etc.
- It is known by all that the North-East Region of India is not sufficiently developed and many people cannot earn enough money to get two times of meals.
- If people are in such a condition, our government should care about them and take some important steps to preserve our national parks and sanctuaries as it can employ people residing there.
