Metal+acid. = Metal salt + hydrogen

This is only true when metal is more reactive than hydrogen.

Is the metal reacts with acid it produces salt and hydrogen gas..

Metal+acid→salt+hydrogen gas

E.g.,Zn+H2SO4→ZnSO4+H2
